Course Description:

This is an introductory course to the Internet and the World Wide Web. Students are introduced to navigational and research basics. Topics include internetiquette using search engines and file transfer protocols.

Prerequisties:   

None required.

Course Objective:

After completing this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Log onto the Internet and WWW.
  2. Navigate the Internet and WWW.
  3. Use search engines to locate specific topics.
  4. Transfer and receive files.

Grading:

Grading will consist of projects, hands-on tests, and written tests.
