COP 2826 Advanced Graphics Design for
Multimedia/Internet

(3 Credit Hour)


Course Description:

This course is a continuation of COP 2823. Focus is on advanced graphic design techniques. Students use digital imaging software to prepare graphics for use in multimedia and Internet documents.

Prerequisites:

COP 2823 Graphics Design for Multimedia/Internet

Course Objectives:

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  1. apply advanced graphics desing techniques.
  2. use storyboards to plan structure of pages.
  3. convert graphics types.
  4. describe and work with color theory.
  5. describe and use scanning techniques.
  6. work with advanced paint and text tools.
  7. apply advanced techniques for reducing load time of web/multimedia documents.

Grading:

Grading will consist of projects, hands-on tests, and written tests.
