CGS 2940 is a coordinated work-study course involving class work and field experience. Students will participate in hands-on activities
by assisting with Web page development and/or web server implementation. Objectives determined by the student and faculty-coordinator will be used to evaluate the student. This should be one of the last courses the student takes in the Web Technology A.S. Degree program. The student will attend a minimum of 3 clock hours per week in the internship experience. During the course, the student will develop two completely new web sites as outlined in a sight contract between the faculty member and the student.HCC maintains internships and work study co-op programs with Busch Gardens, GTE Mobilnet,
Reflectone, Group technologies, The Computer WorkPlace, Cargill Fertilizer, and Bisk Education. Student may apply these internships opportunities with any of these local companies toward completion of CGS 2940.
