The Computer Science Department
at Brandon maintains six computer lab classrooms and the open computer
center for the campus. Two fulltime techs are employed. |
- Pat
Cowley is
officed in BACA 215. She maintains all the hardware in the labs and
troubleshoots computer problems on the campus as requested.

Mickey Reigger
Grew up a service brat and graduated from high school in Merritt Island,
Florida. She has an AA from Brevard Community College and a Bachelor's
degree from the University of Florida. She later earned an AS from BCC
and worked as a computer programmer for six years before managing a
computer department for four more years. She has lived From Lake Tahoe
to St. Thomas (USVI) and even spent two years in Andros, Bahamas. She
is happily living in Mango now, minutes from the Brandon Campus and
spends most of her free time sailing with her husband Angus and schipperke
Drifter.

- Dan Miller- Retired
from TECO after 26 years. Started working for HCC in 1995 as a computer
lab tech. “When I first worked in the lab my job was to see that
the computers worked and that the printers had paper. Later I helped
students and helped grade homework for self-paces courses for many teachers
over the years. I have been working part-time almost eight years and
enjoy the work, students and instructors.”

- Matt Wilder has been
a lab tech at HCC for seven years. He also works full-time for FDEP.
He is a season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Storm and a huge country
music fan.

- Jon Maguire has worked
as a computer lab technician at HCC for 2 years. He will finish his
Bachelors degree in Communication at USF in December and already has
a culinary arts degree. He has been married for four years to Shannon
who is currently stationed in Ramstein, Germany and is a Lieutenant
in the United States Air Force.

- Mark Baugh spent four
and a half years in the USAF as a mechanic on the A-10A aircraft. He
is currently enrolled at USF working on his Bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical Engineering.
